Youtubers Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams have revealed that they are now married after getting engaged in 2019.
Shane Dawson is a YouTuber with more than 19 million subscribers, and in 2016 he started dating Ryland Adams, who has his own main channel with more than 3 million subscribers, as well as a video blog channel.
Since then, the couple has shot many videos together, and in March 2019, the couple got engaged after Shane proposed to Ryland.
On January 12, 2023, they uploaded a post to Instagram in which they told fans that they were finally married.
“Were married!” — Shane wrote in the caption to the post. “The best day of my life. Our very unique wedding video is ready.”
On the same day, Ryland uploaded a video to his vlog channel called “We are married!!!!”. in which they documented the day.
“So we have a day planned and an event planned that we thought was going to be our wedding,” Ryland explained in the video. “But from a logistical point of view, it’s just better to get a marriage certificate in Colorado, and since we’re leaving back for California tomorrow, today is the last day we have to do it.”
They recorded them going to the courthouse and reading their vows. The couple later explained that they wanted to get finger tattoos to mark the occasion, but after the artist explained that finger tattoos wear off over time, they gave it up.
They then shared the news with Ryland’s mom via FaceTime, recording her response in a video blog.
The comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations from fans, many of whom have been following the couple online since they first met.
