Youssoufa Moukoko Has Signed a New Contract With Borussia Dortmund With The Barcelona Clause

According to a new report, Manchester United target Youssoufa Moukoko does not want to play in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old sensation’s contract with Borussia Dortmund expired at the end of the season, and he did not agree to the 6 million euro contract offer offered by the Bundesliga.

He has scored six goals and provided four assists in 14 games for Dortmund this season.

The upcoming appearance on the market of a teenage sensation, dubbed “the next Haaland” and proclaimed by Erling Haaland himself to be better than he was at the same age, aroused the interest of a number of clubs.

Earlier it became known that Barcelona was interested, but could not move this month, which made it possible for Premier League clubs such as United and Chelsea to have free access to the player.

But now, according to the Catalan edition of Sport, the player has decided that he will wait for the Spanish side or sign a new contract with Dortmund with a special “Barca clause” allowing him to join them as and when they can take him.

“Blaugrana is very interested in the striker, and the striker is very interested in the blue-garnet,” says Sport.

“In fact, everything that is brewing around the negotiations on the extension of the contract with Borussia Dortmund is going in this direction.

Barca wasted no time and did everything possible to take a favorable position for his possible signing.

“So much so that their rivals, little by little and having learned all the subtleties of the movements taking place between the two sides, begin to give up their positions.”

In this regard, the publication mentions Chelsea, indicating that they are instead turning their attention to Marcus Thuram from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Moukoko, for his part, does not rule out an extension in his current team, although he puts forward certain conditions. One of them is an exit clause of 50 million euros, which would be lower in the case of some clubs.”

“One of them is Barca, which, yes, hopes that it will not extend its relations with the Germans and will be able to sign him for free in June.

“There is no doubt that Moukoko does not want to go to the Premier League and prefers to play at Camp Nou.

Sport does not say which other teams may be included in the special clause on cheap buybacks, but it is unlikely that it will be United if they are right in their statement that the player does not want to move to the Premier League.

Bayern Munich is another obvious interest—related alternative.

For their part, United are also currently limited in terms of transfer offers due to the precarious financial situation and the impending sale of the club.

There have also recently been reports that the player’s age has been falsified and that he is actually 22 years old, and this drama may affect whether the Red Devils make a move for the player or not.
