YG Entertainment continues to tease its new female group BABYMONSTER, this time presenting five members with a dance video.

Earlier today (January 19), the South Korean music label released a new video featuring five BABYMONSTER members: Ruka, Haram, Asa, Rora and Ahyeon. The group performs a dance to the song Young Money “Senile” with the participation of Tyga, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, choreographed by YGX dancer and Street Woman Fighter star Lee Jong. BABYMONSTER is completed by Dane and Preeta, who are not in the video.

Last week, YG Entertainment fueled the expectation of BABYMONSTER’s debut by sharing dance numbers and covers of songs on the label’s YouTube channel. The label uploaded a video with a vocal cover of a 15-year-old Haram member for Mario’s 2004 single “Let Me Love You” and another video with Ahen singing “Sway With Me” by Saweetie and GALXARA.

YG Entertainment first announced plans to debut with a new female group in a video titled “YG NEXT MOVEMENT” on December 31, 2022. It featured clips featuring female band members training during rehearsals, as well as jokes about interns from their label colleagues.

“Think of them as a child with YG genes,” YG Entertainment founder and executive producer Yang Hyun—suk said of BABYMONSTER. “Just as they have shocked me with monthly ratings over the past four years, I really hope they will become the stars that will shake this world.”
