Xiaomi : Last Wednesday (17), Apple announced its self-repair home kit for customers looking to fix their iPhones at home. Less than a week later, information emerged indicating that Xiaomi is also working on a similar service.
Xiaomi India’s Twitter page posted an interesting tweet last Tuesday (23rd), suggesting that the company is also working on a repair kit for its customers. Despite not giving much details, the message reveals the company’s focus on smartphone users of the brand.
“We care. For us, it’s always been about you. It’s been about your experience with us. We’ve always strived to put you first. And now, we’re taking things one step higher, just for you. “, was posted on Twitter.
In addition, an image was also published with the words “Services Simplified”, or simplified services in Portuguese — in the image, the suggestion of a repair program is clearer.
For us, it's always been about 𝗬𝗼𝘂
It's been about 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 experience with us.
We've always strived to put 𝗬𝗼𝘂 first.
And now, we're taking things a notch higher, just for 𝗬𝗼𝘂.

Probably, if the service is unveiled, the novelty will be tested first among consumers in India. If that happens, Xiaomi will be the first company with Android devices to launch a model similar to Apple’s.
The Self Service Repair program, planned to start in 2022 in the United States, will allow users to purchase sets of parts and tools to perform simple repairs on Apple devices, without the need for specialized technical assistance.
