Manchester United have taken a huge step towards going to Wembley after a dominant win over Nottingham Forest.
United won 3-0 in the first leg and will take the lead at Old Trafford when they host Forest again in a few days.
Marcus Rashford drew first blood in the 6th minute. He started a brilliant series and beat two defenders, and then shot into the net.
Woot Weghorst scored his second goal for United and his first at his new club.
Bruno Fernandes sealed United’s victory at the end of the second half with another magnificent finish.
There were many outstanding performers. The one who stood head and shoulders above the rest, especially in attack, was Vegorst.
The Dutchman started his third game in a row and showed a good result.
Weghorst had an amazing 100 percent transmission accuracy.
He registered 30 touches of the ball during the period he was on the field before being replaced by Anthony Elanga.
Weghorst completed 20 passes, most of which came in deep drops to get the ball and hold it before bringing his teammates into the game.
The 30-year-old athlete won 100% of his fights. He also completed one long pass–his only attempt during the game.
Weghorst was clinical. With one shot on target, which he struck, he counted it and made sure that the ball went through the Forest goal.

Of course, the scorer seems to have found his place in the club. Tonight he showed what he is capable of and showed the fans why Ten Hag is so passionate about him.
