While Fans Are Waiting for “Jumanji 4,” Franchise Alum Madison Eisman Shares Honest News About The Film

When Dwayne Johnson took over the Jumanji franchise and relaunched it with the release of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, he achieved box office success by making one of the highest-grossing films of his career. The sequel “Next Level” has also become a hit, and such success usually means more sequels, and yet we have yet to see a fourth (or third, depending on how you think) Jumanji movie. And we know that we have no plans for a new movie in the series, because the partner in the film Madison Eisman did not hear a word.

CinemaBlend’s Sean O’Connell had the opportunity to talk to Madison Isman on behalf of the upcoming feature film Knights of the Zodiac, and he asked the actress who played Bethany, a human replica of the video game avatar played by Jack Black in previous Jumanji films, what she knew about a possible new film. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know anything at the moment, but she’s ready when and if the next movie comes out. Iseman explained…

Nothing. If you hear anything, let me know. …And Sony on the line: “Hey guys…” I mean, it’s definitely, it would be a dream. This franchise has changed my life, and I really miss it and everyone who was a part of it. And this is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. It has to do with watching it again. I think it’s time. I’d like to make another one, any day now. They can call me.

Iseman’s role in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was her biggest project to date when she appeared in the film, so it’s not hard to see how the franchise has changed her life. She clearly still feels strongly about movies and would like to do more in this world. And there is a possibility that if a new film “Jumanji” appears, it will be an even bigger film for Iseman and her colleagues in the film.

While non-video game avatar characters were a smaller part of the two previous films, at the end of “Jumanji: The Next Level”, animals from the world of Jumanji escape to the real world. If the fourth Jumanji movie is taken from there, we may end up seeing human characters with bigger roles, rather than just anchoring the story of Dwayne Johnson and company.

Recently there were rumors about a new movie “Jumanji”. Kevin Hart said that he and Dwayne Johnson are discussing what their next joint project will be, and that a new Jumanji is one of the possibilities. However, it is clear from what Hart says that there has been no movement in the franchise, so even if a decision is made now, it will be at least another couple of years before we see any of this.
