Winter Love Island 2023 is finally back, bringing with it all the drama, romance and reunion. There have been several notable changes this year.
For its second winter edition, the popular ITV show is being filmed in a brand new luxury villa, and Maya Jama is presenting both the main event and an extra show for the first time.
Although we know that the islanders live in South Africa, many are curious about where the film “Love Island: After Sunset” is being filmed. Here’s all you need to know.
Love Island: Aftersun location
Despite the fact that this year “Love Island” was filmed in sunny South Africa, “After Sunset” was actually filmed at the BBC Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, England.
This means that the new presenter Maya has quite a commune, who divides her time weekly between Cape Town for live performances on Love Island and London for Aftersun.
Every Sunday, the TV presenter is joined by three guests who interview the residents of the island who were evicted from the villa and share exclusive behind-the-scenes clips.
Fans from the UK can attend the chat show for free by applying for tickets at the Apple Store. Just go to their website and select the date you are interested in.
However, tickets are not always guaranteed, as the show is incredibly popular, and there are not many seats in the studio.
