The entry-level smartphone Vivo Y74s with 5G support, 50 Megapixel camera and 44W fast charging technology was introduced.
Vivo came up with the new member of the Y series, the Y74s 5G. Positioned in the same entry segment as models such as Vivo Y15A, Vivo Y76s and Vivo V23e, the smartphone draws attention with its 50 Megapixel main camera in addition to 5G support and 44W fast charging technology. Vivo uses the MediaTek Dimensity series processor instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon in the product.

The smartphone, powered by the 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, meets the graphics need with the Mali-G57 GPU. Dimensity 810, which is supported by Arm Cortex-A55 and Arm Cortex-A76 cores and goes through the 6nm fabrication process, can go up to 2.4GHz frequency speed.
Coming with 8GB of dual-channel RAM, Vivo Y74s 5G also offers up to 4GB of virtual RAM for those who do not find it enough. The smartphone, which has 256GB memory option supported by UFS 2.2 technology on the storage side, provides the opportunity to increase up to 1TB with a microSD card. Vivo said the available storage will be less than 256GB due to the system apps being preloaded.
Vivo Y74s 5G, which comes out of the box with a 6.58-inch 2408 x 1080 pixels Full HD + resolution screen, has a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone, which uses an LCD panel, is 90.61 percent, the pixel density is 401 ppi, and the touch sampling rate can go up to 180Hz. Vivo Y74s, which supports 16.7 million colors, has a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
Vivo Y74s 5G has a 4100 mAh battery. 50 Megapixel main + 2 Megapixel auxiliary sensor on the back of the 44W fast charging smartphone; On the front, it has an 8 Megapixel selfie camera. According to Vivo’s statement, the main camera supports 10x zoom and the front camera supports 2x zoom. The device also has modes such as night shot, portrait, slow motion.
On the security side, the smartphone offers users face recognition and fingerprint lock. Vivo Y74s, which comes preloaded with Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0, connects to the outside world with its USB Type-C port and allows the use of wired headphones thanks to its 3.5mm jack.
