Although director Todd Phillips’ version of the Joker didn’t overlap with Matt Reeves’ Batman, that doesn’t mean that the story of this crazy clown isn’t over yet. Something important to know about Joker: Folie à Deux is that this upcoming sequel will actually be a musical. This interesting discovery shouldn’t have been too unexpected, given that it has been confirmed that Lady Gaga will be starring alongside Phoenix reprising her Oscar-winning role. While we’re still waiting for the release of “Joker 2” in theaters, a video from the set may have shown one of Lady Gaga’s new songs for the upcoming musical.
Lady Gaga’s latest film, House of Gucci, may not have revealed her musical side in her character or even in the soundtrack, but fortunately, this pop star’s voice will shine again in her next film Joker: Folie à Deux, where she plays psychiatrist Harlin Quinzel, who falls in love with Arthur Fleck, also known as the Joker, and becomes Harley Quinn.
