Known for her courage, as well as for acting in bold scenes, Sweeney was appreciated for the dynamic and candid scenes she shot in Euphoria. Undressing or filming sex scenes in front of the camera is a difficult task, but Sydney has supposedly mastered this skill. However, the confidence with which she makes this viewing was not initially there.
The time when Sydney Sweeney felt awkward while filming sex scenes
Initially, the 25-year-old girl began her career with cameo roles in such shows as “Thinking like a Criminal” and “Anatomy of Passion”. But she got her first big role in the Netflix comedy drama “Everything Sucks!”. It was pure comedy, and there were almost no sex scenes in the show.
However, in 2020, Sydney starred in the film “Nocturne”, in which the Washington native had to star in a sex scene in front of the camera. According to Koi Moi, when asked about the most difficult scene in “Nocturne”, she replied that she was making love.
“In fact, I was very uncomfortable. It was funny because I hadn’t taken off all my clothes, but I still felt uncomfortable. But I think it’s always like that,” she explained. However, later this scene turned out to be one of the most discussed scenes in a horror movie.
“Nocturne” is a dramatic horror film in which Sydney played the role of Juliette Lowe, the twin sister of Vivian Lowe, played by Madison Eisman. One of the reasons she played Juliette Lowe was because she wanted to do something completely different from her character Cassie in Euphoria.
Apparently, her role in “Nocturne” was perfect for what she was looking for. She also wanted to play this role because there were a lot of psychological problems in it that Sydney was willing to try. It has become more comfortable for her to act in explicit scenes on camera, for which she receives high praise from critics and fans.
