Turner & Hooch, Disney + series based on the film Almost Perfect (1989), revealed new cast members. The information was released exclusively by the North American portal Deadline on Tuesday (22).
Thus, Anthony Ruivivar (The Curse of the Hill Residence), Brandon McLaren (The Twilight Zone) and Jeremy Maguire (Modern Family) will have regular roles during the attraction. Meanwhile, Becca Tobin (Glee) will make small appearances on the program.
Starring Josh Peck, Turner & Hooch will present viewers with a delegate heir to a giant, undisciplined dog. However, after a difficult relationship, the animal proves to be the ideal “dog” for investigations.
According to the description, Ruivivar and McLaren will play Turner’s (Peck) co-workers. Young Jeremy Maguire will be the nephew of the protagonist of the plot. Finally, Becca Tobin will make appearances with a prosecutor and the boy’s ex-girlfriend.
In addition to the names announced, the attraction also features actors Lyndsy Fonseca (Agent Carter), Carra Patterson (Lovecraft Country) and Vanessa Lengies (Glee). Another information revealed by Deadline is that the debut season will have 12 episodes.
Turner & Hooch has executive producer and screenwriter Matt Nix (Burn Notice) and is being produced by 20th TV, a division of Disney TV Studios. The series is expected to hit Disney + sometime in 2021.
