A claim to her place. Remy Bader saw a problem in the fashion industry and did something.

More than a year ago, the 27-year-old TikTok star, known for her realistic fittings, shared a candid review of the things she bought at Revolve. In the video, the crooked model showed that much of what she bought did not fit, and urged the popular seller to offer expanded sizes. The clothing company quickly responded by asking Bader to work with them on the collection. From there, Remi x Revolve was born.

After several months of work, Bader and Revolve launched a line of 15 items, whose sizes range from XXS to 4X, on Wednesday, August 10, at Revolve.com which, according to the social media star, is a “dream come true.”

“It was very quick, Revolve reached out, which just shocked me because I just never thought something like this would happen,” Bader told Us Weekly exclusively before the launch.

“This [collection] for me is everything I’ve never been able to easily find for my body,” Bader shared, adding that she describes her personal style as colorful and sultry, but she hasn’t always been able to find things. which matched her aesthetics and size.

Bader continued: “I was thinking about all the problems I faced when shopping, and I just didn’t want people to face it… It’s fun. It’s sexy. I feel like a lot of people think that [an extended size] should look a certain way, and that you can’t have cutouts or form-fitting figures.”

The New York native dispelled this myth by offering customers attractive two-piece sets, leather dresses, corsets, a spectacular leather blazer and much more from her collection.

“I’ve never been able to find a blazer dress that would fit me. It is either too short or does not fit in the hand. So, creating the perfect blazer and blazer dress was exciting. I also wanted to include a corset because corsets are another thing I struggled with,” Bader explained. “However, the most important thing was a set of trousers and a blazer. I searched through everything and didn’t find any suitable ones. So, we have a troika that will be in the second issue and will be sold separately. I feel [like] this is especially important because everyone has such different bodies, and it may take one specific size for the top and another for the bottom.”

When it came to bringing the capsule to life, Bader was “very, very involved.”

“I was part of the whole process, from the selection of silhouettes to fabrics, patterns and models. I wouldn’t want it to be any other way, and I’m very glad that Revolve wanted and wants to hear my feedback and listen,” Bader told Us. “They want to learn and do the right thing.”

“Regardless of whether it’s positive or negative, I think I would just like to see people in clothes and talk about clothes,” she said. “It’s okay if you think I need to add a button to something or change something else… It’s so important. I’m happy to learn and do it better for the future.”

This collection has also caused a lot of thought.

“Everything happened for a reason,” Bader shared. “I think all the negative things at that time that were in my life for me, you know, struggling with weight gain, losing my job, all these things [happened for some reason]. If I hadn’t lost my job, if I hadn’t gained weight, I wouldn’t have had any of what I have now.”

She added: “I would tell myself that everything would be fine. Everything will work out.”

The second part of Remi x Revolve will be available this fall.
