ABC will premiere season 17 of the longest-running medical drama of all time on television, Grey’s Anatomy, after the long wait that has kept fans eager.
Let us remember that the production of the new season of the ABC series, Grey’s Anatomy, was halted in March as a result of the blockade generated by the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the crew and cast returned to the Grey’s Anatomy film set, in order to shoot the scenes for the upcoming episodes of season 17 that fans have long awaited.
As fans know, Grey’s Anatomy season 17 will address the coronavirus pandemic in new episodes. Therefore the romantic relationships between the characters will be affected by social distancing.
As Grey’s Anatomy must adapt to reality, actress Kelly McCreary, who plays Maggie in the series, explained what this challenge will be like with her new romance in the upcoming season.
During an interview with TV Line, the series star confirmed that Maggie will still be dating Winston on Grey’s Anatomy season 17. But, now the romance will be maintained through technology. This explained Kelly McCreary:
“They go through what various people in the world are going through, in which they try to get to know each other at the same time that the relationship grows virtually with the FaceTime or Zoom screens. And when they interact like this, it is the best moment of their day, really ”.
The Grey’s Anatomy actress seized the moment during the interview and claims to believe that Maggie now has a healthy relationship after parting ways with her former love interest. This explained:
“The separation from Jackson was a big change for him to finally realize that ‘I don’t know why I’m with someone who doesn’t like me.’
