Selena Gomez has been a busy woman lately, and that’s not counting her high-profile feud with Hailey Bieber and the Jenners. The actress was focused on filming the third season of the series “Only Murders in the Building,” which is apparently her recent version of “Father of the Bride” for the breakthrough comedy Hulu. There has also been a lot of buzz about her personal life lately, as there have been rumors about her relationship with former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
The two singers were allegedly spotted on a date at a restaurant in New York last week, according to the now viral TikTok, and were even spotted kissing. Since then, rumors have been spreading. Now a recent walk adds fuel to the fire. According to Gmail, the former Disney star was seen on the street with Zayn Malik’s personal assistant Taryn Zimmerman.
Of course, neither Gomez nor Malik confirmed or denied the rumors, so this is just speculation. A source reportedly told Entertainment Tonight that their initial date involved holding hands and kissing, and that they were clearly comfortable with each other. They say that the Pillowtalk singer wanted to see what could happen to Gomez, but at the moment it’s just a rumor.
Since Selena Gomez is filming “Only Murders in the Building” in New York, it’s possible she’s just meeting friends in between filming, and hanging out with Zayn Malik’s personal assistant was just a coincidence. Nothing has been confirmed at the moment, and the only people who really know what’s going on are Gomez and Malik. Although, if it’s just PR for an unexpected collaboration, it will suit me quite well.
Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid broke off their relationship in October 2021, just over a year after they met a girl together. And just a year after that, there were rumors that Hadid was dating Leonardo DiCaprio, and Malik was allegedly unhappy about it. While Malik didn’t seem to like what his mom was doing, Hadid allegedly has no problem with his potential relationship with Gomez. A source reportedly told Us Weekly that as long as Malik is happy and stable and continues to be a good parent to their daughter, she’s fine with whoever he’s dating.
Whatever the status of Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik’s relationship, fans will undoubtedly continue to be curious, unless one of them somehow signs up. If love is in the air, at least Gomez seems to have Gigi Hadid’s approval. The singer/actress certainly got the approval of Only Murders in the Building fans for her performance as Mabel, which you can find streaming with a Hulu subscription!
