The Witcher: Season 2 Final Has A Trailer For Blood Origin; Watch!

The Witcher: After a hiatus of nearly 2 years, Netflix released the full 2nd season of The Witcher this Friday (17th). In total, the season has 8 episodes and a “surprise” in the final chapter.

After the credits for “Family”, the producers have posted an unreleased trailer for Blood Origin, the prequel series to the franchise. The production will take place 1,200 years before the main line of events in The Witcher.

Blood Origin will tell the story of the “Continent”, the franchise’s universe, and how the territory became the home of elves, men and monsters. The trailer features characters such as Éile (Sophia Brown), Fjall (Laurence O’Fuarain) and Scian (Michelle Yeoh).

The new derivative production will have 6 episodes and was in charge of Declan de Barra, who is the screenwriter of The Witcher. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who is the showrunner for the main series, is on the project as executive producer.

The franchise, which originally appeared in the books, was very successful in video games and is already morphing into several products. In August of this year, Netflix itself had already released The Witcher: Legend of the Wolf, a cartoon that tells the story of the wizard Vesemir.
