Actors often leave the characters after the completion of the project. But this process becomes more complicated when you have been living as a character for more than ten years. However, it is important to move on, and so is Emilia Clarke. The petite actress became a household name thanks to the role of the blonde princess and mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series “Game of Thrones”. The prequel “House of the Dragon” tells about the events and her family that happened long before her.
When she recently appeared for an interview at Variety Studios, she was quick to admit that she was staying away from the prequel. Her confession provoked a hilarious reaction from her devoted fans.
Fans React to Emilia Clarke Avoiding “House of the Dragon” Because It’s Weird
Loyal followers of Emilia Clarke tweeted in support of the actress, who recently said she had never watched the show. They all understood her point of view, considering how badly HBO treated her character.

Jon Snow’s betrayal is hard to forget. While Daenerys did become a Mad Queen who killed millions, she was eventually killed by her lover Jon Snow. It was a betrayal that no one expected.

Talking to Matt Donnelly in the Variety studio, the “Last Christmas” actress confusedly admitted that she did not want to watch the series. “It’s so weird. It’s like someone saying, “Do you want to go to a reunion that’s not in your class? Do you want to go to this school meeting?” she explained. But she’s definitely happy with the love the show gets. “House of the Dragon” became a huge hit for the premium cable network: 9.9 million viewers tuned in to the pilot episode.
Recently, the series received a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Drama category. As for Emily, the Emmy-nominated actress will appear in The Generation of Pods. HBO’s big shot has lost not only a viewer, but also a prolific director.
