Just a week after their Billboard Hot 100 debut, NewJeans entered the chart with another song!
On January 24, local time, Billboard announced that NewJeans’ latest title track “OMG” debuted at number 91 on the Hot 100 (the weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States).
This record marks NewJeans’ highest chart ranking to date and their second chart entry after “Ditto”, which debuted at number 96 last week.
Having become the fastest K-pop group in history to enter the Hot 100, New Jeans, which debuted just six months ago, has now also become the fastest K-pop group to hit the chart multiple times.
In addition, NewJeans is only the third K—pop group to ever enter the Hot 100 with more than one song, after BTS and BLACKPINK.
