English under-19 football players want to reserve a place for themselves in the Under-19 EURO finals, which will be held in Malta this summer.
As part of their trip, the young people will visit Hungary, Iceland and Turkey.
The two teams that come out on top after three games will automatically qualify for the finals, which will be held in July.
Head coach Simon Rusk will undoubtedly be keen to use Mainoo, who is currently having a breakthrough season at United under Eric ten Haga.
Mainoo made his first-team debut in United’s 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic in the League Cup quarter-finals back in January.
Since then, the 17-year-old has become a regular player in the senior playing squads of United, where he was mostly on the bench.
Mainoo also trained with the first team, which, according to Ten Haga, the player earned thanks to his good training and amazing work ethic.
Mainoo also bowed in the Premier League in front of United fans during the 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Since the Red Devils were in control of the clash, Ten Hag felt it appropriate to introduce Mainoo during the tournament and give him a taste of the big time.
Forson is a creative midfielder who joined United in 2020. He broke into the U-18 team and has been a regular player for them ever since.
