Since the first “Hello, You” in 2018 on Netflix, the series has been renewed four times to give four equally exciting seasons. In 2023, fans saw Joe Goldberg in London, realizing his dreams of an elite professor. And while fans are still catching their breath after the roller coaster ride that was in season 3, Netflix has another exciting announcement for You fans.
One of the most intriguing elements of “You” is its main character, who by all means is a fateful man, strongly inclined to fatal consequences. However, Joe Goldberg’s character gives plenty of room for numerous storylines thanks to his intelligence and manipulative qualities. However, while the show has to go on, it also has to stop. And the new Netflix ad has confused fans: should they cry or celebrate.

With Netflix Originals, it often happens that they fail in continuity when it comes to accumulating huge viewer ratings due to OTT Mughal ordering them from the platform. The situation seems to be the opposite for You Season 4, which cracked the code of the top 10 most watched English Netflix series and scored 92.7 million views in a week. And before fans had time to realize that Joe becomes Jonathan Moore, and then Joe again, Netflix announced the 5th season of the show.
“Will Joe Goldberg’s doomsday finally come?” OTT Mughal teased in a press release, according to People. However, to end on a bittersweet note, Netflix said that the 5th season of “You” will be the last.

So far, the series has had many characters centered on Joe Goldberg. After the brilliant reception of the series throughout its many seasons, fans are eagerly waiting for Netflix to complete this extravaganza.
When will You’s finale be released?
Season 4 made a bet on the already popular genre of murders in high society, and Joe Goldberg, who personifies horror, added the right sharpness. Netflix has announced the renewal of the show for the fifth and final season, but has not yet announced a date.

This announcement caused a mixed reaction from fans. Some people are of the opinion that too many cooks spoil the broth and that’s exactly what happens to you, who, in their opinion, did not even need the 3rd or 4th season.
