The End Of The Road Festival has announced another wave of performers for its line-up for 2023.

Recently announced artists include The Murder Capital, Fatouma Diawara, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, as well as Charlotte Adigér, Bolis Pupul, Deerhoof, Samia and many others.

They join previously announced King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Future Islands, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Wilco, Angel Olsen, Ezra Furman, Arooj Aftab, Greentea Peng and Overmono.

The festival is due to return to Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset from August 31 to September 4. Last-tier tickets are currently still available — you can buy your own here.

Regarding the composition of the 2023 festival, founder Simon Taffe said: “This year’s lineup excites me without words. I’m so lucky to be able to bring my record collection to life! King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Future Islands, Angel Olsen, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Ezra Furman have staged some of my favorite live performances over the years, and more recently Arooj Aftab, Greentea Peng and John Francis Flynn have amazed me.

“End of the Road is an opening and I can’t wait to welcome a whole bunch of amazing new bands that have never played before like Biig Piiig, Flohio, Floodlights, Horse Lords, Infinity Knives & Brain Ennals, Moin, They Hate Change and more! As always, we will do our best to make this year the best, and there are still many surprises ahead…”

In a five – star review of the End Of The Road Festival 2022 , NME wrote: “The most special moments of the festival take place deeper in the forest — on a tiny piano stage in a buried forest clearing, some of the biggest performances of the weekend (including Kurt Weil and Lucy Dacus) arrange quick and unannounced 15-minute acoustic shows.

«[…] In general, there is a slight surrealism on the End Of The Road website — where else will you look up to see a glorious golden-green parrot screaming in the trees in the distance, or a peacock enjoying soundchecks on a cloudy Sunday morning??”
