The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly added another slugger to their all-star roster thanks to an exchange with the Yankees.

According to Mets batsman Pat Ragazzo, two-time All-Star Joey Gallo is swapping stripes for a blue Dodger as Los Angeles sends double-right-hander Clayton Beater to New York in exchange for a two-time All-Star.

Gallo’s tenure with the Yankees was not easy. Batting just .159 for the season with 12 home runs, 24 GAMES and outs in almost half of it at bats.

Let’s hope that a trip to the west will be able to correct his performance and, perhaps, even put him in a better position.

In a recent interview NJ.com Gallo spoke candidly about the overwhelming criticism of his play. To say that he doesn’t go outside because “I really don’t want to show my face too much here.”

Just a year ago, the powerful left-hander hit 38 home runs off 77 calves between Texas and New York.
