Fans trying to get tickets for Drake and 21 Savage complained about the high cost on social media.
Last week, Drake’s “It’s All A Blur Tour” was announced with 21 Savage. The pre-sale of the Cash App began on Wednesday, and soon complaints about ticket prices began to appear on social networks. Since Drake decided to use Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing scheme, prices range from $300 to $1,000 depending on the city. For example, the cheapest seats at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit cost $750. Ticket prices for the Madison Square Garden show range from $572 to $1,143, excluding fees.
“Who pays $1,200 to see Drake? Ticketmaster really says $995 + $187 fees,” another person tweets. Ticketmaster also had problems because of which people who were willing to accept such prices could not buy them. “I would like to explain why I’ve been trying to buy four tickets to the Miami show for an hour, and this is the message I get every time I click on the ticket!” a frustrated user shares a screenshot of the timeout error. “Wait all this time until the tour drops to get through this to buy!”
The It’s All A Blur tour is Drake’s first tour since 2018, when he toured with Three Migos.
