The Croatian Hideout Festival has announced the second wave of performers who will join its line-up in 2023.
The festival will take place on the beach of Zrce in Novalja, Croatia, from June 25 to 29. This year, the English band Bad Boy Chiller Crew and American DJ and producer Honey Dijon will join the line-up, as well as DJs Hedex, LF System and Chase. & The State of affairs.
They will be joined by already announced artists Alan Fitzpatrick, Ewan McVicar and KETTAMA, as well as English DJ Patrick Topping and female techno group Girls Don’t Sync.
Previous performers Overmono, SHERELLE and Mella Dee will return to Hideout. The recent wave of Hideout additions marks the second of three announcements about the festival’s line-up, with the latest batch to be unveiled in February.

Hideout complements the busy festival route of the Bad Boy Chiller Crew, whose performance at Reading & Leeds in 2021 marked one of their biggest performances to date. “There is no gap between the band and their audience,” NME wrote about the Reading and Leeds performance in a four—star review. “Almost anyone in the tent could go up on stage and look at home—perhaps that’s why their sense of freedom was received so enthusiastically.”
Bad Boy Chiller Crew’s latest mixtape, “Disrespectful,” was released last February, when NME wrote in a four-star review that the project “reveals [the band’s] strength not only in the recording booth, but also on stage, in the race. track and dance floor”.
In an interview with NME in 2021, the band described “Disrespectful” as “bolder, more funky” and “damn homey”. The project was among the best EP and mixtapes of 2022 according to NME.
