The Black Dahlia Murder Announced The First Tour After The Death of Frontman Trevor Strnad

The Black Dahlia Murder have announced their first tour following the death of their frontman Trevor Strnad.

Strnad died in May 2022 at the age of 41. The cause of death was not disclosed, but the group shared the number of the National Suicide Prevention Hotline along with its statement about his passing.

In September, it was confirmed that The Black Dahlia Murder would continue with co-founder guitarist Brian Eshbach taking over vocal duties, and former lead guitarist Ryan Knight returning to the band on rhythm guitar. A month later, the band played their first concert with a new line-up.

Now the melodic death metal band is preparing for long concerts in North America with the support of Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth and Phobophilic. The tour starts at the Decibel Metal Festival & Beer Fest in Philadelphia on April 14 and will last six weeks, and will end on May 26 in Minneapolis.

The pre-sale will begin today (January 18) at 10:00 local time, and the general sale will begin in 48 hours on Friday (January 20). You can see the full list of dates below and buy tickets here.
