If you remember the scene in which Logan travels through time and has a tense fight with Weapon XI, then it was Scott Adkins who played this character. In an interview with Ethan Alter from Yahoo! Entertainment, the actor spoke about his return and death. Recalling the shooting, Adkins said he didn’t expect Weapon XI to appear in the film the way he did. He thought he was going to wear a Deadpool costume.
As much as he loved his role as the original Deadpool, Adkins told Yahoo! The entertainment is that the Canadian actor dealt with the character later. Although he praised the Deadpool movies, he also talked about his return in Deadpool 3. The first “Deadpool” was released in 2016, followed by a sequel.
Weapon XI returns with Ryan Reynolds in “Deadpool 3”?
In Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman will once again play the role of Wolverine. Although there are other X-Men characters in the film, people wonder if Weapon XI will return. Well, there is no official news about the character’s return. However, Adkins expressed a desire to return in the third and last part of the film. The owner of Wrexham also talked about the fan-favorite character Peter from the first movie.
Recalling his experience in the X-Men movie, he said that if the 46-year-old actor called him and asked him to come back, he would be happy to do it. Even if it meant Deadpool would kill Weapon XI again. Since Jackman has already revealed the timeline of “Deadpool 3,” it would make sense if the movie saw the return of Weapon XI.
