“That would be funny” — Why Does Finn Wolfard Want The Series “Stranger Things” to End After Season 5?

Released in 2016, the series “Stranger Things” continues to be one of the most iconic shows on Netflix. The Netflix sci-fi original conquered the world when it first appeared on the streaming platform. “Stranger Things,” spanning four seasons, is among the best shows in the world. However, like all good things, “Stranger Things” are also coming to an end. As we all know, the sci-fi show will end after the release of the fifth season.

As fans, we would never want our favorite shows to end. However, the sad thing is that the show, no matter how popular it is, must end. Similarly, Hawkins’ story arc is also coming to an end with the fifth and final season. While it’s certainly emotional for fans and actors alike, Mike, aka Finn Wolfhard, thinks the series, which is coming to an end with a fifth season, makes a lot of sense.

Finn Wolfard does not support the idea of a sixth season of “stranger things”

As we all know, the cast of “Stranger Things” has been together for a long time. Just like the fans, even the actors are thrilled that the show has come to an end. And recently Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike, said that it would be difficult to see the end of the show. However, Wolfhard also makes it clear that the idea of a sixth season does not suit him. In an interview with Uproxx, Wolfhard told how he considers the sixth season of the sci-fi drama “ridiculous.”

In continuation, he added: “For me, too, if “Very Strange Things” lasted longer than five, I would say that it would be funny.” In addition, Wolfhard said that the fifth season will show the dynamics of the fourth season, although more substantial. Meanwhile, the actor also hopes that the series will give each character a complete ending.

Elsewhere, director James Cameron also said a few words about the aging cast. Avatar’s fame showed how he learned the main lesson of casting during the filming of “Very Strange Things”. According to Cameron, the child actors in the project “Very Strange Things” looked “older” than it was said in the script. And, given what Cameron said, Finn Wolfard’s opinion about the absence of the sixth season seems sincere.
