Taylor Swift to be nominated for Oscar and Golden Globe

Taylor Swift has an unreleased song of her own in the musical film “Cats”, which opens December 19. The song, already released, is called “Beautiful Ghosts” and is a strong contender for the film awards season. “One thing seems certain: the song co-written by Taylor Swift and Lloyd Webber is likely to be nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe,” says Variety.

If confirmed, it will be Taylor Swift’s first Oscar nomination – top film award. She has competed for the Golden Globe in 2013 and 2014, respectively with the song “Safe and Sound” from the “Hunger Games” score and “Sweeter than Fiction” from the movie “Just One Chance.” Never won.

In “Cats” Taylor Swift will also show herself as an actress. She has little experience in the role. The singer made the film “Idas e Vindas do Amor” (2010) and a participation in “The Donor of Memories” (2014).
