SZA teased that she has some “surprises” for fans.
The R&B singer-songwriter released her long-awaited second album “SOS” last month, which follows her 2017 debut “CTRL.”
Yesterday (January 25) SZA responded on Twitter to the news that her latest record was the first album by an artist who had 10 or more songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks in a row.
In addition, “SOS” has been at number one on the Billboard 200 chart for six weeks.
“It’s also fucking wild,” SZA tweeted about the first statistic. “THANK YOU.” Then she promised that “there will be” some “surprises” soon. You can see the message below.
Also thank you for 6 WEEKS AT NUMBER ONE π₯Ή .. never thought Iβd even get one week tbh.. God is so excellent π€ thank yβall fr ππ«‘

Celebrating her sixth week at number one in the US, the singer wrote: “Also thanks for 6 WEEKS AT NUMBER ONE… I never thought I’d get at least one week. Lord, thank you all, fr.β
SZA did not provide any additional information about what the upcoming surprises might be. However, recently the artist announced that she would share a luxury edition of “SOS”.
During an interview with Most Requested Live this month, the star said she had “about 100” tracks left (via Hypebae).
“There are still songs that are not included in the album, which I wanted to do in the album, but that’s what luxury things are for,” explained SZA.
“Sometimes 10 songs are not included, so we’ll see. I’m going to throw them all out becauseβ¦ No one can say that I didn’t give music. So when I disappear for another five years, there will be more. There will be more to speak for me.”

The original version of “SOS” boasts collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers and Travis Scott, as well as a sample of “Ol’ Dirty Bastard”. It is said that SZA teamed up with Lizzo to record the song “Boy From South Detroit”, but it was not included in the album.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Lizzo was secretly appearing in the “SOS” version of “F2F”.
Producer, sound engineer and songwriter of the record Rob Bizel said that Lizzo is on the track in the form of higher vocals on bridge. “We just happened to stop him the day Lizzo was there,” he explained.
Bizel added that there are “definitely a few” SZA songs featuring Lizzo, and the producer added, “I don’t want to incriminate myself here, but something is definitely going around.”
