The Microsoft Edge browser, which was launched earlier this year with its renewed face, attracted attention in the list of the most used browsers. Microsoft Edge is on its way to rivaling Chrome.
As you know, the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge scanner was launched in the second week of January. The first reports are positive for this new browser for Windows 7,8,10 and macOS. Passing the Firefox browser, which ranks second among the most used browsers, the new Microsoft Edge has become a competitor for Google Chrome for the first time. Microsoft Edge is becoming the second most popular browser.
Microsoft Edge browser is loved with its renewed face
Microsoft’s Chromium-based Edge browser, which recently left the beta version, is the second most used browser, according to a recently released report by NetMarketShare. As of March 2020, the Google Chrome browser is the most used browser with a high rate of 68.5 percent.
Microsoft Edge follows it with its face renewed with 7.59 percent according to the new ranking. Falling to third place, Mozilla Firefox is the third most popular browser with a total of 7.19 percent. After the ranking, Internet Explorer showed its popularity with 11, 5.60 percent and Safari with 3.62 percent.
So how did Edge suddenly become so popular? The answer is simple because it was slower than the browser successors in question, but Edge became faster thanks to its new updated interface. Therefore, the number of users has increased significantly.
