Super Junior Donghae releases ‘Harmony’, His debut single. Despite having 15 years as an idol and being in several subunits, he decided to make his solo debut.
Super Junior has remained an active group for almost 15 years, not only as a group, but also with subunits and soloists. Donghae is one of the members that makes up Super Junior D&E and was part of Super Junior M, but in 2020 he decided to make his official debut as a soloist.
Despite having compositions within the group’s albums and with D&E, the idol decided to do something different with the music and write something more personal. Donghae released a documentary to talk about his career and about “Harmony,” his simple debut that premiered today.
The song is a message of thanks, because he has said that his childhood was not very good, he even collected bottles to be able to exchange them for ramen and after becoming a famous idol , he wanted to thank for the talent and opportunity he obtained.
The song is of the gospel genre, ELF knows about Donghae’s religious belief about God and although it is a very different theme than K-pop, they are happy that the idol can follow his dreams and prove that he is a great composer.
His companions, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun have shown their support in social networks. The debut officer Donghae is something that is very proud to ELF, they know it was not easy for the only act on stage.
