Through a post on its official twitter, Sony announced that it will hold a dedicated State of Play for The Last of Us Part II next Wednesday, 05/27. It has previously been confirmed that the game is already ready, and is planned to hit stores on June 12th.
Unfortunately, according to the company itself, it is not yet this time that we will have news from PlayStation 5, which should only have new information released at an event held on June 4. However, the company promised to release 20 minutes of gameplay for the new title, which should calm the hearts of the most anxious fans, who had to deal with postponements due to COVID-19.

It is worth remembering that the Japanese giant announced a new brand for the exclusive games of its consoles, PlayStation Studios. The new identity should simplify and further focus the content produced by its developers on the PlayStation itself.
In addition, the manufacturer also announced that it is expected to reveal more details of the first PlayStation 5 games soon. Until then, Sony had taken a stance to keep secret what it is planning for the new generation. The last major announcement made and related to the console was the revelation of DualSense, a new control that promises even more immersion with the adoption of haptic feedback.
