Despite the fact that “Game of Thrones” aired almost four years ago, the HBO fantasy show continues to live in other forms, primarily thanks to the spin-off “House of the Dragon”. However, the Bastard of Winterfell returns to our days in an amazing way. Recently, fans couldn’t help but notice that the EDM artist Skrillex looks eerily similar to Jon Snow “with a stylist” now that he has abandoned his famous emo image.
It can definitely be a surprise when celebrities show off a new style that is very different from what fans are used to seeing in sports. And this can definitely be said about Skrillex right now. Photos of the artist with his long-haired emo style and another with his new cleaner haircut show how different these two images are. Take a look for yourself and try not to suffocate like you:

DJ’s long hair was practically a staple, so it’s surprising that he decided to cut it off. After seeing the photo, the Twitter user couldn’t help but note that he looks like a version of Jon Snow, who was given professional style advice, and I can’t say they’re wrong:

This is definitely one way to describe the change! That’s not the only thing people point to in the new Skrillex feature. One fan raised a TikTok comment in which he joked about the artist, whose real name is Sonny John Moore, as well as cosplay Snow and a certain rapper:

I definitely didn’t have a Skrillex that shaved its head and looked like Jon Snow on my 2023 bingo card. Despite the major change, it doesn’t seem like many people are upset about the DJ’s transformation. Although some comments give the impression that it will be difficult for many people to separate the performer from the favorite actor of “Game of Thrones” in the future:

The physical resemblance between Skrillex and Jon Snow actor Kit Harington is mind-blowing and hilarious, and the fact that so many people seem to agree with it is also laughable. The love for the character is likely to continue as the Jon Snow spin-off is in development and Harington will return to reprise the role. Perhaps at some point Skrillex will agree to become a guest star. I mean, this won’t be the first time a musician has appeared in the popular HBO franchise. (Remember when Ed Sheeran appeared in Game of Thrones?)
However, Skrillex’s new hairstyle may be a sign of a new era for him. He has already released new music in 2023, and this, along with a new hairstyle, seems to suggest that he is looking for a fresh start in the new year. Of course, he probably didn’t expect a comparison with Jon Snow, although one would think that this could bring him street credibility among the fans of “Thrones” moving forward.
