Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is preparing to present the Glazers with an official offer to move to Manchester United as sales heat up.

Ratcliffe presented the proposal against the background of a report stating that Dubai was leading the race for a full takeover of United.

Dubai is at the forefront of Old Trafford and any side must exceed what it is willing to pay.

It was also reported that United also received offers from Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

The Raine Group remains committed to completing the full sale of the club during the first quarter of this year.

Football Insider reports: “British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is preparing to present an official offer to Manchester United as the prospect of a world record takeover approaches.”

“The Glazers want to sell United by April, and takeover bids should be submitted by mid-February. Investors from the Middle East, Asia and the United States are ready to announce their attempts to buy United in the coming weeks.”

“Ratcliffe also continues to monitor the situation closely and is believed to be preparing for a formal offer.”

The Glazers are aiming for a world record before parting ways with the 20-time champions of England.

Football Insider adds that the Raine Group will establish contacts with interested bidders over the next few days to inform them of its readiness to start accepting bids.

Ratcliffe intends to submit a proposal depending on United’s qualification for the Champions League.

United’s efforts to qualify for the tournament intensified significantly after beating Manchester City 2-1.
