Sea of Thieves hits Steam in June and maintains crossplay between Xbox and Windows 10 versions

Rare announced earlier this year that one of its biggest successes was finally leaving Microsoft’s exclusivity to come to Steam as well. And while we had no expectations at that point about the release date of Sea of Thieves for the popular game store, there are no secrets now!

The game already has a page available on Steam and will be available on June 6 for the price of $ 40 in the United States.

The Steam version will still allow players to explore the world of Sea of Thieves not only with users of the platform itself in online mode, but also with users of Windows 10 and Xbox One.

“Sea of Thieves offers the ultimate pirate experience, from sailing and fighting to exploring and plundering – everything you need to live the pirate life and become a legend for your achievements. Without any definite role, you have complete freedom to interact with the world and other players as you prefer.

Whether traveling in a group or sailing alone, you will certainly meet other crews on this shared world adventure – but will they be friends or foes, and what will you do about it?

Explore a gigantic open world full of remote islands, shipwrecks and mysterious artifacts. Embark on quests to find lost treasures, hunt down the cursed Skeleton Captains or collect valuable cargo for the Trading Companies. Go hunting and fishing, or choose from hundreds of optional missions and objectives.
Play the Great Lorotas and experience Sea of Thieves’ original approach to a story-driven campaign. With 11 stories to be played in two epic storylines, these immersive and cinematic missions provide around 30 hours of pure pirate fantasy.
