Just over a week after being awarded the One UI 2.1 interface, the Galaxy Note 9 has now received an update in Brazil with the security package of July this year for Android. The European variant had already won the installation since the middle of last month.
The update changes the version number to N9600ZHS5ETG3 and has a size of 153.62 MB. It also keeps the patch dated to the 1st of last month. Check out the screenshots below:
The changelog does not indicate additional changes, other than traditional security improvements and bug fixes. It is worth remembering that, having already undergone two other major system changes, the trend is that the Korean manufacturer will not make the future Android 11 available for this model.
According to the Samsung support page, the new firmware has been available since last Friday, July 31st. However, it is possible that the notification will reach your device just days later.
How to download the update?
Even available via OTA, you can manually check if your device has already received the latest update. For this, it is necessary to go on the following path: Settings> Software update> Download and install.
