Samsung announced on Tuesday (24) the closure of all stores of the manufacturer in Brazilian territory. The measure follows recommendations to combat the pandemic of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to the official statement of the South Korean, the measure was taken to guarantee “the health and well-being of our employees, partners and consumers”. You can check the full text at this link.
The establishments will be closed indefinitely (or “until further notice”, as the text says) and must follow the guidelines of national agencies, such as the Ministry of Health, that people remain at home except for mandatory or emergency tasks.
What keeps working?
Customers who need the manufacturer’s services can turn to Samsung’s online store, which remains operational. Online customer service through the support website also continues to operate, but at reduced hours: from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm.
