It was clear that Samsung for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 will release the One UI 2.1 update. This update was expected to arrive in April. However, the update came before April. The company released One UI 2.1 for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 last week. So, what about update updates for Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9? Sad news has arrived for Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 users.

One UI 2.1 update does not appear for Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9
Likewise, a few weeks ago, the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 were reported to be able to receive the One UI 2.1 update. A moderator on Samsung Korea’s forums stated that the update could also be released for 2018 flagships. However, this may not be the case and these devices may not receive the update.

The One UI 2.1 update brings some of the best Galaxy S20 features to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10. Among these; Fast Sharing, Music Sharing, Video Pro Mode, Enhanced Night Mode, Night Hyperlapse, Clean View, Fast Cropping and more are available.

Sad notification for Galaxy S9 users
After the post of the moderator, there was an expectation that the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 could also receive the One UI 2.1 update. However, a notification sent through the Samsung Members app in South Korea shows that there is currently no plan to bring UI 2.1 to Galaxy Note 9. This sad development means that the Galaxy S9 can’t get UI 2.1 either.
