We have to say it! Hollywood’s most romantic character, Ryan Gosling, has some really compelling moves. Starting from scratch and gradually reaching heights, the 42-year-old Canadian actor really enjoyed his career. He is the man that every girl wants to be with, and every guy wants to be like. Gosling is also a trained dancer. And, to our great delight, Ken of the new generation never shies away from demonstrating his talent both in real life and in the cinema.

In his 2011 romantic comedy Madness, Stupidity, Love, he developed an image of his talent with absolute perfection. Just to refresh your memory, Gosling played Jacob—a serial, suave seducer of women with a lot of charisma. It wasn’t until Hannah (Emma Stone) walked in that Jacob fell in love. Now, if you remember, there was a scene in which Hannah asks what his seductive technique is to win over women, and he replies “Dirty Dancing”. And just a moment later, they imitated the infamous climb in the most amazing way. But did you know that this wasn’t the only time Gosling participated in Dirty Dancing?

Madness, stupidity, love inspired “Dirty Dancing” on the real tactics of Ryan Gosling

Apparently, back in 2019, directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa told Entertainment Weekly that Gosling had to take care of Stone only with a seductive look. However, when they sat down with him to discuss the script, the La La Land actor talked about the time when he actually did the Dirty Dancing exercise to impress a girl. And at the same moment they decided: “Okay, it’s going to the movies!” And although Gosling initially resisted, this scene became a fan favorite.

Notably, screenwriter Dan Fogelman then created the scene on paper using Gosling’s patented swoon-inducing motion. The director also said that the two actors had been training for several weeks to perfect the lift, and therefore they did not need understudies. “It’s harder than it looks, and it’s scary. Ryan really worked hard. He’s a trained dancer, so he focused on making Emma feel safe,” Ficarra explained.
