Rockstar Games has blocked one of the most popular tricks in the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. Hackers were throwing white hooded characters in single player mode online using the game’s mod menu with this trick. However, such a thing will no longer be possible.
As with all other games, there are dozens of cheats in Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games has not been able to deal with these tricks up to now. However, a vulnerability in the game made it possible to cheat through the single player mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, except for external software, and Rockstar Games has now officially blocked this trick.
Players of Red Dead Redemption 2 know the white hooded characters in single-player mode. These characters belong to a group called Ku Klux Klan and they all dress up in the same way. These characters, which you can see in various parts of the game, can be transferred to the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 through the mode menu, but they will now only be available in single player mode.
KKK members will no longer be in the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2
Ku Klux Klan (KKK) members are mostly known as a terrorist group in the game. Also, especially with the emergence of domestic problems in the US, these characters were used in some racist shows in the game.
As such, the players of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been voiced many times in various forums about their discomfort with these characters. The latest development is an indication that Rockstar Games is listening to the players.
Rockstar Games has prevented the white hooded characters from taking part in the online mode, thanks to a patch barrier that has been added to the game’s mod menu. So tricks no longer put these characters into online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Making comments on the subject, Rockstar Games did not mention other tricks in Red Dead Redemption 2, but confirmed that the trick that allowed Ku Klux Klan members to be uploaded to online mode has been eliminated.
