The creator of the animated show “Rick and Morty”, Justin Roiland, has revealed that he likes the idea of releasing a new episode of the series per month, instead of the regular way.
In an interview with Slash Film, Roiland spoke about the premiere strategies that have changed during the different seasons of the show. The fourth season of “Rick and Morty” premiered five consecutive episodes last November, with the remaining five coming to light earlier this month.
“I have proposed to launch an episode every month, make it a great event … I like the idea of thinking outside the box, about how any show is released with the masses,” said Roiland.
70 new episodes of “Rick and Morty” were ordered in 2018, which means that at least 60 more of them will arrive after the end of the fourth season.
