Realme confirmed last December that it will launch its flagship phone, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor, in 2021. The company did not reveal the name of the new smartphone to be released, but only talked about its features using the code name “Race”.
According to the latest reports, the device is claimed to be released on the Chinese market as Realme GT. Today, Realme CMO Xu Qi shared a poster on Weibo marking the release date of the Realme GT.
Realme GT 5G, codenamed Race, debuts on March 4th
There is no information about the technical features of the GT 5G in the poster published by Realme. It is written that only the opening event will be held on the specified date and at 14:00. Recently, the phone with model number RMX2202 was spotted on TENAA. It is thought that this phone will be released in the Chinese market as the Realme GT.
The technical specifications of the smartphone have not yet appeared on TENAA. However, images of the phone listed in TENAA’s database revealed that it had a perforated screen and a rectangular-shaped camera module on the back panel and a ‘GT’ branding.
According to the leaks about this smartphone, it is highly likely that Realme GT will be offered to users with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage and Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 operating system. If we look at its camera, it is estimated that it will have a 64 Megapixel primary camera.
