China-based smartphone maker Realme, a two-year-old company, was planning to release the first IoT devices in 2020. The company took the first step for this and announced the realme Link application.
Realme, which is a very new brand and founded in China in 2018, started its way as a smartphone manufacturer. Madhav Sheth, CEO of the company, said in a statement last December that the company plans to release IoT (Internet of Things) devices in 2020.
What the company wants to do with their smartphones and IoT devices is to create their own ecosystems and take the first step for it. The company announced the realme Link, which will be used as the application of IoT devices, which will be released in the future today.
What is realme Link?
In his statement about the application, the company included the following sentences: “In the smart device world, realme Link will help you find and connect all Realme IoT devices. Your smartphone will become a control center where you can control, manage and monitor all your Realme IoT devices with realme Link. ”
In the statement made by the company, it was said that the realme Link application will be pre-installed on all Realme smartphones in the future. The company also presented a questionnaire about the application’s logo to the participants in the user community. Realme asked its users to choose one of four different icons. The letter ‘O’ on the icon designed by Realme was placed on the icon representing the ‘Operator’.
The company also announced it will release its first fitness bracelet in February. This means that in addition to the Realme X50 Pro 5G, this bracelet will be introduced at the event to be held next week. Additional information about IoT devices can also be provided during the event.
