Putting password in Windows folders is not a native function of the system. Step 1. Download and install 7-Zip on your computer. To do this, after downloading the installer, access the system downloads folder and run the file. Then, just click “Install” to proceed with the installation;

Step 2. When finished, click “Close” to close the installation wizard;

Step 3. Locate the folder you want to password protect and right-click on it. In the context menu, go to “7-Zip” and click “Add to compressed file …”;
