The popular battle royale game PUBG celebrated the 3rd anniversary of its meeting with players by announcing their costume gift and new content plans. Many innovations await players, including the Vikendi map, which was renewed in the fourth year.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is celebrating its 3rd anniversary today after the beta version first released in 2017. Spreading the Battle royale genre to the whole world since then, PUBG plans to enter its fourth year more powerful with new content plans.
Vikendi will be the first of the innovations to come to PUBG. The new version of the map, which has trains, will be released again shortly after the test data and feedback. Vikendi, who was shelved after the arrival of Karakin’s map, will return with new mechanics and a completely renewed experience.
While other planned updates are not summarized in detail, additional game options such as new maps, new weapons and mechanics, Deathmatch for Arcade mode, and quality improvements and bug fixes will be available to troubleshoot the game.
Free costumes for the 3rd anniversary
In addition, PUBG players will be able to receive the 3rd anniversary Item Box for free for a limited time, featuring the M416 skin, costume and parachute designed in the competition held between communities around the world.
While PC players can get the box for free from the 23rd to 23rd April in the in-game store, console players will be automatically added to their accounts when they log in between the 26th of March and 25th April.
