Porsche Opens Europe’s Most Powerful Charging Parking Lot for Electric Cars

Porsche, which entered the electric car industry with the Taycan models it introduced in the past months, opened Europe’s strongest charging parking lot for electric cars. This parking lot, located in Leipzig, Germany, will be in the pilot phase until March.

Porsche, a German car company that has been producing in the luxury car industry for years, started to produce electric cars by catching the new trend in the previous periods. The company, which entered the sector with Porsche Taycan Turbo and Taycan S, which it introduced in September of last year, has rolled up its sleeves to open the biggest fast charging station in Europe.

The charging station, which is said to be the strongest in Europe, is located in Leipzig, Germany, the homeland of Porsche. Porsche says all electric vehicles are serviced at the station. Inside the car park, there are 6 350 kW internal fast charging points, 12 350 kW chargers and 4 22 kW AC stands. It is also stated that all the energy of the parking lot, which provides 7 MW of power, is renewable.

Porsche’s fast charging station, which will be held at the pilot stage until the end of March, provides free service every hour of the day, seven days a week. Payments to be made after this date will be determined according to the characteristics of the vehicle owners. During the vehicle charging period, customers will be able to enjoy all the services of the Porsche Customer Center, including the historic vehicle exhibition and shop, and book a driving experience on the Leipzig track.
