Expanding the list of monsters present in Pokémon GO, Niantic announced that the mobile title will receive new creatures coming directly from Pokémon Sword / Shield this Wednesday (3).
The new pokémons selected to show up in the game for Android and iOS are the Galarian versions of Meowth, Zigzagoon, Darumaka and Stunfisk, which hatch from 7KM eggs, as well as the evolutions of the first two, Perrserker and Obstagoon.
It is worth mentioning that it will also be possible to obtain Meowth and Stunfisk in these versions as rewards for the Throwback Challenge Celebration, in addition to meeting Stunfisk in Raid battles.
With these entries, Pokémon GO receives its second wave of Galarian Pokémon – remember, last year Niantic decided to introduce Galarian Weezing to the game as a way to celebrate the release of Pokémon Sword / Shield.
Although there is still no official statement, other creatures already have their Galarian versions registered in the game’s codes, such as Ponyta, Rapidash, Darmanitan, Slowpoke, Farfetch’d and Sirfetch’d. It is worth mentioning that these creatures from the new region have different types compared to their original counterparts.
