POCO Pop Buds: the brand’s first wireless headset has a name announced


The first wireless headset from POCO will be called POCO Pop Buds. The name was the winner of a poll carried out by the Xiaomi subsidiary on Twitter, last Monday (18), which had four alternatives for users of the social network to choose from.

In the poll, launched by the product manager of POCO India C Manmohan, there were four name alternatives to name the earbuds model, which will be launched soon by the brand: POCO Move Buds, POCO Klip Buds, POCO Pop Buds and POCO Funkz.

The POCO Pop Buds option came in first, obtaining 42.4% of the more than 21 thousand votes cast while the poll was open, the equivalent of more than 9 thousand votes. He achieved a good difference in relation to the runner-up, Funks, with 27.9% (around 6 thousand votes). The third and fourth positions were with Move Buds (23.9%) and Klip Buds (5.8%), respectively.

It is worth remembering that the true wireless phone (TWS) was chosen as the manufacturer’s next release also through a vote on Twitter, held in March. At the time, he competed with a headphone, a fitness bracelet and a game pad, reaching first place with 38.2% of the 12,500 votes.

Details not revealed
To date, few details about the new POCO headphones have been revealed, other than its name, which has just been announced. But according to rumors, there is a good possibility that they are a modified version of Mi AirDots 2 SE, bringing the subsidiary’s logo and other minor changes to the look.

Regarding the specifications, no information has been released by the manufacturer, which should start promoting its new product soon.

The launch of the POCO Pop Buds phone has no date yet.
