Poco, once a sub-brand of Xiaomi but recently left an independent brand, shared a poster. The poster saw that the company plans to release a phone next month.
Pocophone, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, made a difference between the phones of its time and Pocophone F1, the first and only smart phone it released. Poco F1, which has a very cheap price compared to the high-level and high-performance hardware items, has literally entered the eyes of customers as a price performance monster.
Pocophone’s India Twitter account, which has recently left Xiaomi and became an independent brand and will only produce smartphones under its own brand, shared a new poster. In the shared poster, Mancohan Chandolu, Managing Director of Poco India, said: “We will launch our new phone next month.” This promise revealed that Pocophone will be launching a phone in the next February.
Pocophone F2 may arrive in February
Despite being budget-friendly, Poco F2, which will be the successor of Poco F1, known for keeping up with its flagships, may come next month considering the information in the poster. Although we have the knowledge that the company has been working on Pocophone F2 for a while, a trademark application has been filed for Poco F2 in the past weeks. This information may mean that the smartphone is getting ready to be released soon.
The company’s first smartphone, Poco F1, was released only two months after the trademark application was filed. Therefore, it is very likely that the smartphone, which has applied for a trademark for Poco F2 in the past weeks, will be Poco F2, which will be released next month. Of course, since there is no exact information about which phone to release, these are only predictions for now. The company will also be able to promote the Poco X2, which has recently revealed Geekbench results, next month.
