The ambitious amusement park simulator comes to consoles with a great staging and dozens of hours of content ahead.
Planet Coaster: Console Edition is already a reality on consoles. After its time on PC, the Frontier Developments title goes on sale on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 (as of November 12) with a meticulous adaptation to make the traditional control with keyboard and mouse is comfortably adapted to command. The title is part of the lineup of launch games for new consoles from Sony and Microsoft; with the incentive of reaching Xbox Game Pass.
In addition, those who get the game in its version of PS4 or Xbox One will be able to immediately update to those of PS5 and Xbox Series X | S without any cost, technically improved editions and with optimizations that guarantee, for example, times very low load.
Two editions available; included in Xbox Game Pass
Planet Coaster: Console Edition comes in two editions. One of them is standard under a price of 44.99 euros; the other, called the Deluxe Edition, includes access to 18 new rides and roller coasters corresponding to the additional content packages Magnificent Rides Collection and Classic Rides Collection, for a total of 54.99 euros.
As we said, users subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass service can now enjoy the game on any Xbox model (regardless of whether it is Xbox One or Xbox Series) with all the benefits and additions, but improved on Xbox Series X | S.
Among the general improvements in this console edition of the Frontier amusement park simulator are an improved interface and control, especially for large screens, as well as optimizations in navigation. What does not change are the options and game modes that we already saw on the computer, such as Carrera and Sandbox.
After the success with Planet Zoo, Frontier returns to coincide with the premiere of the next gen with this Planet Coaster: Console Edition. The adrenaline of the roller coasters is palpable in the atmosphere.
