Why do people think that 5G caused the coronavirus outbreak?

While the coronavirus epidemic quickly turns into a pandemic, many countries are under quarantine. While such an event is affecting the world, conspiracy theories are inevitable. The number of people who hold 5G responsible for the coronavirus outbreak is not at all.
This theory is based on the claim that Wuhan is the first city to have 5G technology in China. Whereas, Wuhan is only one of the cities that has 5G in China. Another idea that goes around this theory is that 5G negatively affects people’s immune system. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. The last of the wrong information associated with this theory is that the coronavirus looks like an ordinary cold. This belief is also not true.
The group Stop5G, founded by 5G opponents popular on Facebook, has more than 26,000 members. Many posts in the group that talk about the relationship between 5G and COVID-19 are in circulation. There are also a few famous faces among the supporters of these theories. Singer and songwriter Keri Hilson, known in England, is one of them. Hilson says that for years people have been working to warn the world against 5G.
In one of his posts on his Twitter account, Hilson said that 5G technology should be stopped, claiming that people started to die after the launch of 5G technology in China on November 1, 2019. Hilson cited Africa as an example to support his theory, “Why is the virus not in Africa, like here, because it’s not the 5G region. Although there are several base stations, it is not as common as in other countries. ”
Calum Best, which is famous for its TV program in the UK, blames 5G for the coronavirus by saying “The entry of 5G into our electromagnetic field is a new virus”.
